Terms of Service

LocalRank Audit is an online visibility tool for local businesses, available at localrankaudit.com ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before you start.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Service.

LocalRank Audit runs automated audits of your online presence across four areas: website SEO, Google Business Profile, local search rankings, and AI platform visibility. After each audit, you receive scores, a breakdown of issues, and a prioritised list of recommended actions.

Audits pull data from third-party services including Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Places, SerpAPI, and AI platforms (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic). The data returned reflects what those services report at the time the audit runs.

Audit results are informational only. They reflect a snapshot of your online visibility at a specific point in time. We make no guarantees about:

• Improvements to your search rankings as a result of following the recommendations.
• The accuracy or completeness of data returned by third-party APIs.
• Continuous availability of the Service — we may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to issues outside our control.
• Results remaining accurate after the audit date — rankings, reviews, and AI platform responses change frequently.

LocalRank Audit is a diagnostic tool, not a ranking service. Think of it as a health check, not a prescription.

You must register for an account and verify your email address to run audits. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when registering. Accounts created with false information may be suspended without notice.

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is a violation of these terms.

The Service is currently available free of charge to registered users, subject to fair use limits. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future, with reasonable notice given to existing users.

To protect service quality for all users, audits are rate-limited to 3 audits per 10 minutes per account. This limit exists because each audit triggers multiple external API calls that have real costs. Attempts to circumvent this limit are a violation of these terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Run automated or scripted audits in bulk beyond normal use.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute audit data for commercial purposes without our permission.
• Audit websites or businesses you do not own or have explicit permission to analyse.
• Attempt to access other users' audit data or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of this policy. If you are unsure whether a particular use is acceptable, contact us at hello@localrankaudit.com before proceeding.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, abuse the audit pipeline, or engage in activity that puts the Service at risk for other users. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Closing your account deletes all your data permanently.

The LocalRank Audit software, design, and all associated content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Audit results generated using your business data belong to you. We do not claim ownership over the results of your audits.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalRank Audit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including loss of revenue, loss of rankings, or business disruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you are on a free plan, our liability is limited to $100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should close your account.
