Who we are
LocalRank Audit is an online visibility tool for local businesses, available at localrankaudit.com ("the Service"). When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means the team operating LocalRank Audit.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a user. If you are a California resident, additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may apply to you — see the "Your privacy rights" section below.
What data we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you sign up via Google, we receive your name, email, and Google profile picture from Google's OAuth service.
Business information. When you run an audit, you provide your business name, website URL, location (city/town), business type, and a target keyword. This is the core input for the audit and is stored alongside your results.
Audit results. We store the full output of every audit you run: your website SEO scores, Google Business Profile data, local search rankings, AI visibility results, and the recommendations generated from them. These results are linked to your account.
Usage and session data. We store basic session information (see Cookies below) and record when audits were run. We do not use third-party analytics tools or advertising trackers.
How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Run your audits and display the results in your dashboard.
- Generate your weekly improvement task list and score history.
- Send transactional emails — email verification, password resets, and audit report emails you explicitly request.
- Allow you to filter and compare audit results across projects.
- Improve the accuracy and reliability of the Service.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
